LOPIA Japan Opens First Thailand Store at Central Chaengwattana

Japan supermarket brand LOPIA (Lopia Japan) has officially opened its first Thailand store at Central Chaengwattana, marking its entry into the Thai retail market.


Location: Central Chaengwattana, Ground Floor, Nonthaburi

Opening Date: 11 February 2026
Store Focus: Wagyu beef, sushi, fresh seafood, ready-to-eat meals, and Japanese private-label products

LOPIA is operated by Japan’s OIC Group, originally founded as a butcher business in 1971. The brand is known in Japan for large-format food supermarkets with a strong meat offering.




According to official AccordinAccording to official materials, the Thailand store highlights:

  • Wagyu and premium beef selections
  • Fresh sushi and Japanese deli items
  • Seafood and produce sections
  • Private-brand (PB) Japanese products
  • “Food theme park” style merchandising concept

This is positioned as LOPIA’s first store in Thailand and part of its broader overseas expansion strategy.
