KFC Thailand Launches Whole Crispy Chicken for Chinese New Year 2026
For Chinese New Year 2026, KFC Thailand introduced “ไก่กรอบทั้งตัว” - a whole crispy chicken priced at 329 THB.
Pre-orders were open 10–14 February, with pickup on 16 February 2026 at selected Bangkok branches. Quantities were limited and the release was officially sold out.
The flavour remained familiar.
The form shifted.
During Chinese New Year, a whole chicken is often placed intact on the table before it is carved and shared. The wholeness symbolises completeness and family unity before the meal is divided.
KFC Thailand has also engaged with symbolic New Year themes in earlier seasonal campaigns, including its 2026 New Year blessing activation.
By presenting the chicken in its full form, KFC aligned with a structure already present on many festive tables. Rather than pieces in a bucket, the product appeared as a single centrepiece.
The release was limited to a short pre-order window and selected locations.
Alongside the whole chicken drop, KFC also ran “บักเก็ตไก่เทพประทาน” starting at 288 THB from 12–16 February, serving as a broader festive promotion.
By keeping the bird intact, the brand echoed a form that already carries meaning during the season.
